… the reality is Gregg did an excellent job.
I want to apologize for the comments I made to you over the phone. I was in-the-moment surprised by the outcome. I don't know what I expected but the reality is Gregg did an excellent job. He managed to pull the oil tank out without uprooting the stairs and walkway to my front door.
I have been very stressed as I am selling my house and moving at the age of 89. On top of this, there is the stress of COVID. I overreacted, of which I have been doing lately. I greatly regret it. I really appreciated the work and would highly recommend your services and company.

I want to thank you for the removal of my oil tank…
I want to thank you for the removal of my oil tank. The process went better than expected being that the tank had not holes and required no remediation. Your technicians were great. They did a wonderful job and were very friendly and professional. I could not have asked for a better outcome or a better crew to do the work.

Just wanted to let you and Steve Rich know that we were very pleased …
Just wanted to let you and Steve Rich know that we were very pleased with removal of my daughter's oil tank. Everything went very smoothly and there were no problems. I would like to add that both Danny Flanagan and Oscar were very professional in the process of getting the tank exposed, cleaned, lifted out and refilling the hole. It was extremely interesting to watch Danny maneuver the equipment. A real pro. I will have no problem in recommending your firm to others. Keep up the good work!

I just want to say that my tank was just removed, and passed final inspection …
Glad to say this chapter is now over and glad to know I chose the right team for the job. Seriously impressed, and very thankful to solid contractors like you guys.
In addition, leading up to this day, I was met with Cheryl via several emails. Once again, extremely professional and quick to answer any questions I had along the way. Thank you again!

I was very pleased with these two young men and their work ethic …
The next person was the project manager Greg Wayne who met me at the house to check out the site. He also took the time to answer my questions and concerns and before leaving gave me his card and told me to call his cell ifthere was anything else he could help me with.
The day ofthe project I drove from south Jersey (where I now reside) to meet with the team that was going to handle the removal. I arrived a few minutes after 9 and met Justin O'Connell and James Fraunberger parked in front ofthe house. I walked up to them, introduced myself, and apologized for arriving late. They explained that it was not a problem because they were waiting for the heavy equipment to arrive.
I was very pleased with these two young men and their work ethic. They, too, were very pleasant, answered any questions and concerns, and never were impatient as I popped in and out ofthe house because my curiosity got the best ofme. I was very impressed with how they handled everything. I don't know how long they have been employed by your organization but they truly are an asset. My one concern that I shared with Justin initially was the possibility the integrity ofthe tank would be compromised. Halfway thru the project he took a minute to let me know I had nothing to worry about. I was so relieved and I could not believe that the tank was out ofthe ground, the hole filled in,and the equipment and tank removed by early afternoon.
Today I called and asked to speak to Cheryl because Ihad a question about James'last name. Donna answered the phone, also pleasant, took my information and told me she would call back as soon as she looked up the project info. In a few minutes she called and was able to give me what I needed.
I don't know how big your company is or how many people you employ, but I would not hesitate to recommend your services. I also think having such nice staffis a reflection ofhow you,as the employer, treat your employees. I hope my instincts are correct and you truly appreciate them for what they do. I know it was a pleasure as a consumer to have such a nice experience with each of them.
Thank you and please thank them.

I just want to let you know how satisfied I am with the oil tank removal service on July 30, 2014. Tom and Justin did a great job. They showed up on time, were very careful to put down plywood and tarp so they would not damage the driveway. They had the tank out of the ground in just a few hours. In my humble opinion, Steve Rich and Associates should be proud to have employees like Tom and Justin.

We want to let you know that we are extremely happy with today's UST removal by your Tom and Kyle! Their professionalism, courtesy, care and diligence is rare to find in this day and age, and despite the fact that the job had limited access, their creativity and technical expertise is a testament not only to their own personal dedication & temperament, but also to the Steve Rich culture. We applaud Tom and Kyle, as well as the Steve Rich organization. Greg's visit/proposal, and Cheryl, your handling of the permits and logistics has been very satisfying too.
Once again, thank you for a job well done!

Thank you for your donation to help fight breast cancer …
On behalf of the Octoberwoman Foundation, I would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your generous donation of $1,250.00 dated January 9, 2014. This donation helps us provide the resources we need to make significant progress in the fight againt breast cancer.
The Octoberwoman Foundation, founded in 1995, has contributed over $2,750,000 in research dollars to Columbia University Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center. The late Dr. Davies' method of non-invasive biopsy will begin clinical trials in different cities throughout the US and Europe. This method will detect breast cancer earlier than a mammogram, so treatment is less evasive, more manageable and more curable. Our program at Columbia University Medical Center headed by Dr. Greg Mears and Dr. Ramon Parsons, involves targeting abnormal fusion proteins with a designer drug customized for the patient that inhibits function of the protein. This individualized treatment is leading to less toxic therapies. We are very proud of the progress being made on both research endeavors.
Thank you again for helping us in our mission of raising awareness, improving treatment and diagnostic options less toxic to the body, and providing "Hope for the Future" for all women.
Judith DiBella, Co-Founder of Octoberwoman Foundation, Park Ridge City, NJ

In addition to being efficient and meeting our schedule, everyone in the Steve Rich organization was friendly and helpful …
We would like to thank you very much for your friendly, prompt and efficient service. To complete the sale of our home we were faced with the last minute removal of an underground oil storage tank. As is typical, our closing date gave us almost no flexibility in scheduling.
Once we explained our situation to Juanita we were helped every step of the way including contract preparation, obtaining permits, scheduling and finally the tank removal and subsequent documentation. In addition to being efficient and meeting our schedule, everyone in the Steve Rich organization was friendly and helpful. Although having the tank removed was not our favorite task related to the move, working with the Steve Rich staff made it much, much easier.
In addition, when Greg arrived at our home on Tuesday he observed that the tree on the street in front of our house was becoming uprooted and leaning toward the building. He also noted the roots were close to the sewer, water and gas lines. We contacted the town and the tree was taken down that evening by an emergency crew. Thank you for helping to prevent what could have been a real disaster.
We highly recommend Steve Rich and Associates.

Steve Rich also made me aware of the NJDEP Underground Storage Tank Fund which allows for financial reimbursement for tank removal. Steve Rich employee Tracey O'Connell personally met with and assisted in completion of these complicated NJDEP reimbursement forms. Thanks to her invaluable cooperation I was able to recover all of my financial expenditures for the tank removal. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

I appreciate all your help and concern, it made things a lot easier …
While on site they were careful to not prevent my neighbors from being able to drive by on the narrow street. They were in every way professionals …
Once we signed a contract and sent a deposit, SR&A took care of everything else. They arranged for permits and scheduled the visit by the city inspector. They kept us informed at every step of the process.
The day the tank was to be removed Wayne and his assistant arrived a couple of minutes early. They removed two shrubs and Wayne started digging with a backhoe. Within minutes he’d unearthed the tank. He removed not one bit of soil more than absolutely necessary. Both men examined the tank and had the SR&A tanker pump out the remaining fuel oil. Wayne’s assistant cut a hole in the tank, put on an environmental suit and climbed into the tank to get out any remaining fuel oil.
After the inspector arrived the tank was removed from the ground and placed above ground for inspection. There were no leaks and the tank was put on a truck for removal.
Wayne and his assistant filled the hole with clean fill and the original topsoil. They replaced the plants, leveled the soil, and cleaned the street and area in which they had been working. They put the backhoe on the truck and left.
While on site they were careful to not prevent my neighbors from being able to drive by on the narrow street. They were in every way professionals.
Just wanted to let you know Wayne and his crew did a great job yesterday removing the tank …
