Steve Rich Environmental Contractors, Inc. is about
to celebrate our 11th year in business.
The qualified person will, over the course of each year, perform all tasks
associated with an environmental business.
Projects include:
• Oil tank removal, abandonment, commercial
and residential
• Site remediation.
• Shoring of structures.
• Installations of tanks.
• Installation of pump systems, pump and treat etc.
• Site restoration, including basic landscaping, asphalt, concrete.
This person will report to the Environmental Manager and the owner.
This
person will supervise all aspects of work and should have a history
of operating and or experience around:
• Heavy equipment, loaders,
trackhoes etc.
• Dump trucks, including roll-off, vacuum trucks, tankers
• Has Worked under other supervisors.
• Perform manual labor.
• Work on oil tank removal or installation crews.
• Clean oil tanks.
• Work on septic systems.
• Work on water, pipe or any other utility.
• Work with concrete or asphalt crews.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Possession of a valid Driver's License
at time of appointment.
• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License Class "A" within
six (6) months of appointment. (not that you will be a truck driver, but in
emergencies, all key employees will have ability to perform all tasks) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While
performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works
in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works
near moving
mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions,
fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of
electrical shock, and vibration.
The employee is occasionally required
to stand; walk;
use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools,
or controls; and reach
with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb
or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and
smell. The employee must occasionally
lift and/or move up heavy objects.
Office and field service locations are both located in Bergen County.
